Obstacles Faced While Applying for TSS Visa Australia
Australia
is undoubtedly one of the most popular destinations to get work opportunities. The Australian government offers various types of work visas so that more and more
workers can be outsourced. A TSS visa is a popular visa plan in Australia. The
provisional visa is the door to applying for a PR. Therefore, it attracts foreign
workers. Like other visas, the Australian government has set some eligibility
criteria for a TSS visa. Each applicant has to meet the criteria else the visa
meets with rejection. Let’s discuss obstacles while applying for a TSS Visa in
Australia.
Obstacles
Faced by a TSS Visa
The visa
cannot be applied directly by applicants. They can apply for the visa when the
proposed employer submits a nomination application for them. The employer must
be an approved sponsor.
Another
obstacle is that the visa cannot be applied for if the occupation list doesn’t
contain the field you are specialized in. TSS visa is further divided into
several streams. For example, if you are applying for a short-term TSS visa,
the short-term occupation list must hold the job requirements you want to
apply for. If the list doesn’t contain the occupation you have a specialization in, you
cannot apply for the visa.
The visa
can be applied for inside or outside Australia. If you are applying from inside the
country, make sure you have compiled previous visa conditions and are
holding a substantive visa or a bridging visa A, B, or C.
Skills and
work experience in the relevant field are necessary. In some occupations,
candidates have to demonstrate a skills assessment. Make sure you have a
positive skills assessment. You may be asked to submit RPL. . It is the assessment of skills. The professionals from other
countries with no ICT (Information and Communications Technology) have to
showcase their skills to the ACS for Australian skilled migration. Therefore,
candidates without any ICT need to submit the RPL report. For a short-term TSS
visa, candidates have to meet 2 years of work experience.
Apart from
these things, having no adequate health insurance can create obstacles. Your
health insurance coverage must cover you in Australia. The government of the
country is not responsible for your health expenses during your stay.
English is
another big obstacle. People who belong to China, India, and other non-speaking
English countries go for English language proficiency tests like IETS. The test
assures their ability to speak, write and communicate in English. It is
mandatory to score well to qualify for a TSS visa.Â
