This one doesn’t need much explanation. Fleas can stay for a long time as eggs on different surfaces. They can be found indoors too so keep on cleaning your house at regular intervals. 

Especially those areas where your pet spends its time the most. They can be present on curtains, couches, carpets etc. Clean your pet’s bedding also to prevent infection.
