The Latisse serum is created from its key ingredient ‘Bimatoprost’. It is a medicine produced by Allergan company in 2001 and is primarily used as eye drops for the treatment of eye disorders glaucoma and hypertensive eye pressure.

This led to the creation of generic Latisse by the same company that manufactured bimatoprost eye drops. Tips for Latisse Use 

It is important to note that, generic Latisse for eyelashes treatment is not approved for people under 18 years. Also, it is advised for pregnant and breastfeeding women to avoid the use of the serum.

Dispose of the serum approximately a month after opening the sealed bottle. It contains preservatives to prevent the growth of germs in the solution.
